I'm an architect, urban planner, and educator. I've worked on a variety of projects from residences in the northeast US to islands in the Middle East to development in rural Alabama. The language of design is used in every location, but the clarity of the message is always the most important thing. Otherwise, like in any language, confusion ensues.
My primary responsibility as a designer is to develop a clarity of communication that educates all forms of clients to the products of design and engages them in the design process.
